ECOWAS STRENGTHENS YOUTH CAPACITIES FOR SUSTAINABLE REGIONAL INTEGRATION IN BENIN

Recently, the ECOWAS Representation in Benin organized a training workshop in Cotonou for 25 young people from ECOWAS university clubs and youth associations. The objective was to strengthen their knowledge of regional integration policies, programs and values.

Chaired by the Resident Representative, H.E. Amadou DIONGUE, in the presence of the Director of the Youth and Sports Development Center, Dr. Francis CHUKS NJOAGUANI, the meeting addressed topics such as ECOWAS Vision 2050, governance, peace, health, agriculture, and free movement.

Through this initiative, ECOWAS reaffirms its commitment to making youth a driving force for regional integration by providing them with the tools they need to contribute to a united, peaceful, and prosperous West Africa.
