The lifeless body of a woman identified as Ma Quita Jackson has been discovered behind the Suakoko Cemetery in Suakoko City, Bong County, prompting an ongoing investigation by local police authorities.

According to family members, Ma Quita Jackson was reported missing in the early hours of Thursday, December 10, 2025, at approximately 2:00 a.m. Relatives said she left home under unknown circumstances and did not return, raising immediate concern among family members and residents of the community.

Her body was discovered early Sunday morning behind the Suakoko Cemetery by community members, who immediately alerted authorities. Officers from the Suakoko Police Depot, accompanied by local residents, promptly responded to the scene to secure the area and initiate preliminary procedures.

In keeping with standard protocol, a 15-member coroner’s jury was constituted at the scene to examine the body and assess the circumstances surrounding her death. The jury comprised medical personnel, family representatives, and respected members of the community, ensuring transparency and community participation in the process.

Following a preliminary examination, the jury reported that no immediate signs of foul play were suspected. However, the body was found undressed, and inscriptions or scripts were reportedly observed on the body, raising questions that authorities say require further examination.

The findings of the jury were formally documented and signed by Mr. Elijah Kerkulah, Secretary of the Jury, and approved by Mr. Cooper Jorker, President of the Jury. The report has since been submitted to the relevant authorities for further action.

Police officials in Suakoko confirmed that investigations remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding Ma Quita Jackson’s death.
