FC Fassell Sacks Head Coach Amir Alagić Amidst Poor Start

FC Fassell has officially announced they have parted ways with Head Coach Amir Alagić with immediate effect. The decision was made following a difficult start to the 2025/26 season.

The change at the helm comes as the Soccer Missionaries struggled to find consistency across their early competitive fixtures. In the eight games under Alagić this season—which included matches in the CAF Champions League, the LFA Super Cup, and five league fixtures—the team recorded three wins, two draws, and three losses.

The club confirmed that Deputy Coach Matthew Julutweh will immediately take charge as Caretaker Coach. FC Fassell has already begun the search for a permanent successor, stating a preference for a new Head Coach who holds a UEFA Pro License to steer the team forward.
