MONROVIA — Liberian captain Oscar Murphy Dorley is attracting interest from multiple European clubs before the summer transfer window, continental media reported.
The 27-year-old Slavia Prague midfielder is currently in Monrovia on offseason break and Lone Star duty, but clubs in Spain and Germany are reportedly monitoring him. Deportivo Alavés, Deportivo La Coruña, Schalke 04, and FC Augsburg have all been linked.
Dorley has become a mainstay in Central Europe with SK Slavia Prague, lifting four Czech First League titles and two Czech Cups. He’s also a regular in UEFA competitions.
Born in Monrovia, he’s considered one of the Czech league’s top performers and Liberia’s most valuable player abroad. His ability to play central midfield, defensive midfield, left midfield, and left-back makes him a tactical asset.
He’s contracted to Slavia until June 2027. With over 50 Liberia caps and Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League experience, suitors may test Prague’s resolve this summer.
Dorley is focused on national team duties for now. No formal bids have been confirmed by the player, his camp, or any club.
