FALCONET FC RELEGATED FROM UPPER WOMEN'S LEAGUE

Falconet FC's dream of competing in the LFA Upper Women's League has been cut short, as they were relegated with two matches left in the 2025/26 season. The team, which was promoted last year as champions of the lower division, has struggled to adapt to the top flight, collecting only four points from 20 games.

Their dire form includes 18 losses, one draw, and one win, with a goal tally of 10 scored and 65 conceded. The numbers have left them 14 points adrift of safety, making it mathematically impossible for them to survive.

Falconet FC's immediate return to the lower league of Liberian women's football serves as a harsh reminder of the challenges of top-tier competition. Despite their efforts, the team's performance has fallen short, and they will look to regroup and rebuild in the lower division.
