The South-Eastern Alliance of Liberia (SEAL), in collaboration with a broad coalition of 350 grassroots organizations and political leaders from across the country, is pleased to announce a National Appreciation Program in honor of His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., and His Excellency Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung, scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025. This historic national event will celebrate the administration’s visionary leadership, humility, and measurable progress in steering the country toward sustainable growth and social transformation in less than two years in office.
SEAL and its nationwide partners say the gathering represents the collective voice of ordinary Liberians who wish to express profound gratitude for the government’s unwavering commitment to peace, reform, and inclusive development. According to SEAL, President Boakai’s leadership anchored in integrity, accountability, and service has rekindled national hope and restored public confidence in government institutions. The group praised the administration for prioritizing tangible development outcomes and addressing challenges that have long affected the daily lives of Liberians.
Since assuming office in January 2024, the Boakai–Koung administration has recorded significant improvements across several critical sectors, including: Stable Electricity Supply: Increased generation and reliability of power have boosted productivity, strengthened small and medium enterprises, and improved living standards. Road and Infrastructure Development: Nationwide road rehabilitation projects have enhanced connectivity, trade, and rural access. Rule of Law and Governance: The administration’s commitment to justice, fairness, and the protection of citizens’ rights has deepened trust in state institutions.
Economic Stability: The steady reduction in the prices of essential goods and services has brought relief to ordinary citizens. Improved Transportation Services: Upgraded transport facilities have improved movement and access to local markets. Enhanced National Security: Renewed attention to public safety has ensured a stable and peaceful environment for citizens and investors alike. Timely Payment of Civil Servants’ Salaries: Regular and transparent salary payments have strengthened morale within the public sector. Positive International Engagement: Liberia’s renewed visibility on the global stage has led to stronger partnerships and increased foreign investment interest.
Access to Safe Drinking Water: Expansion of community-based water projects has improved health and sanitation outcomes. Commitment to Anti-Corruption: The administration’s zero-tolerance policy toward corruption has advanced transparency and accountability. In a statement issued over the weekend, SEAL emphasized that the December 6 program will not only celebrate achievements but also serve as a unifying platform for Liberians across political, social, and regional lines to recommit to the shared national vision of development and good governance.
“We, the coalition of 350 grassroots organizations and political representatives under SEAL, extend our heartfelt appreciation to President Joseph N. Boakai and Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung for their people-centered leadership,” the statement read. “Your efforts to promote unity, strengthen institutions, and uplift the lives of ordinary Liberians have inspired confidence in the future of our nation.” As Liberia continues on its development journey, SEAL reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the government’s reform and growth agenda, ensuring that every Liberian shares in the dividends of peace, democracy, and prosperity.
