The Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) has announced a major national development initiative aimed at driving transformation across Liberia. According to the CMC’s Political Leader, Hon. Musa Hassan Bility, the party will, by January 2026, bring 26 pieces of yellow machines into the country to support its ongoing mission of fueling real community-driven development. Rep. Bility stated that the acquisition of the equipment will enable the CMC to launch and execute tangible projects in all parts of Liberia, ensuring that the party’s promise of action and delivery is met long before the 2029 general and presidential elections.
“CMC is a serious political party; we talk and we do; we live up to our promises,” Hon. Bility asserted. “Liberia needs to be redeemed, and this is the beginning of a new way of doing politics through service, not slogans.” The CMC leader emphasized that the initiative will form part of the party’s broader vision to ensure that by 2029, it will have legacy projects in every county projects that citizens can see, feel, and benefit from. Recently, the Ministry of Public Works denied the CMC’s request to construct a modern bridge in Gbarnga, Bong County, despite the party’s readiness to fund and execute the project independently.
However, Rep. Bility maintained that this setback will not deter the CMC from pursuing its mission to contribute meaningfully to Liberia’s development. “We are not discouraged,” Bility noted. “If anything, this only strengthens our resolve to continue identifying and implementing impactful projects across Liberia.” The Citizens Movement for Change reaffirmed its commitment to transforming Liberia through accountability, transparency, and action-oriented leadership putting the interests of ordinary Liberians at the center of its agenda.
