The Ministry of Education (MoE), supported by UNFPA, successfully hosted the National Dialogue on Girls’ Education to advance policy for the inclusion and support of pregnant school-going girls.
This national engagement consolidated perspectives gathered from prior regional dialogues involving students, teachers, parents, and community leaders on protection, school support, and learning continuity.
The MoE, through the Bureau of Student Personnel Services, will now leverage these discussions to draft a comprehensive framework. The MoE extends gratitude to key government ministries and stakeholders, including UNICEF, the National Teachers Association, and the Liberia National Student Association, for their invaluable participation in strengthening girls' education across Liberia.
