The Liberia National Police (LNP) proudly participated in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (Lianyungang), held in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, China, from September 14 to 20, 2025. This marked the LNP’s first official invitation to the prestigious international forum dedicated to advancing global law enforcement cooperation and public safety innovation. The LNP delegation, led by Deputy Inspector General of Police for Administration, William K. Mulbah, included Commissioner for Administration Ahamadu Ebreem Deline and Detective Dickson Dagbe.
They joined over 2,000 delegates from more than 120 countries to discuss global security strategies, law enforcement cooperation, and innovation in public safety. The forum was officially opened by Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security, Wang Xiaohong, who emphasized China’s commitment to multilateralism, sovereign equality, and collaborative governance. Key speakers included INTERPOL President Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi and UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix.
The LNP delegation also held strategic side meetings with international law enforcement leaders, including a key engagement with Commissioner Xiong Xianpin of the Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Department, strengthening bilateral cooperation between Liberia and China. Themed “Shaping Global Public Security Together: United Action to Tackle Diverse Threats,” the forum featured three plenary sessions: 1. Joint Strategies: Addressing Global Public Security Risks and Challenges 2. Innovation Leading the Way: Enhancing Capacity Building and Technical Cooperation 3. United Action: Building a More Comprehensive Mechanism for Global Public Security Cooperation
