Liberia has reaffirmed its historic and enduring relationship with the United States as Dr. Al-Hassan Conteh, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia to the United States, presented his Letters of Credence to U.S. President Donald J. Trump at the White House. The official credentialing ceremony, held on July 24, 2025, in the Oval Office, was steeped in diplomatic tradition and marked a significant step in renewing Liberia’s engagement with its oldest bilateral partner.
