The National Executive Committee of the FALLAHCIAN MOVEMENT, after broad-based consultations with its county-level officials across all 15 political subdivisions of Liberia, has formally endorsed the recent statement made by Deputy Speaker Hon. Thomas P. Fallah, pledging his unwavering support to the government of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai. This declaration of solidarity follows Hon. Fallah’s remarks made during a supervisory visit to his ongoing “Stop and Rest” project at the Lofa Bridge in Beyan’s Town, Salayea District, Lofa County. During the visit, the Deputy Speaker emphasized his willingness to work closely with the Unity Party-led government to advance the development agenda for Lofa County and Liberia as a whole. The FALLAHCIAN MOVEMENT considers this public expression of support by Hon. Fallah as a patriotic step and a reflection of responsible leadership. At a time when Liberia faces numerous social and economic challenges, the Movement believes that unity of purpose and collective action among political actors, civil society, and ordinary citizens are essential to national development.
“We commend Deputy Speaker Thomas P. Fallah for rising above partisanship and putting Liberia first,” the Movement stated. “His commitment to working with President Boakai’s administration for the good of the country is a shining example of the type of national leadership Liberia needs at this critical juncture.” The FALLAHCIAN MOVEMENT fully aligns itself with the government’s ARREST Agenda, which prioritizes Agriculture, Roads, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation, and Tourism. The Movement acknowledges the government’s early efforts to rebuild national infrastructure, enhance transparency, improve basic services, and create job opportunities. “As an independent political movement, we are not driven by party lines but by the interests of the Liberian people. We are confident that the ARREST Agenda, when fully implemented, will bring about meaningful change and sustainable development,” the statement continued.
The FALLAHCIAN MOVEMENT reaffirms its readiness to work hand-in-hand with the Deputy Speaker, who also serves as Doyen of the House of Representatives, and the administration of President Joseph N. Boakai, to support national policies and programs that enhance Liberia’s governance systems, economy, health, security, and education sectors. “We believe that only through collaboration, unity, and patriotism can we address the critical challenges Liberia faces today,” the statement added. “Our movement pledges to engage constructively and supportively in advancing government priorities that are in the interest of the Liberian people.” The FALLAHCIAN MOVEMENT is calling on all well-meaning Liberians, at home and in the diaspora, to set aside political divisions and personal ambitions, and instead join forces to move Mama Liberia forward. “The time to build is now. Let us rise above personal interest and come together for the future of our children, our communities, and our country,” the Movement emphasized. As Liberia continues on its path of post-crisis recovery and democratic consolidation, the FALLAHCIAN MOVEMENT stands firm in its belief that partnerships built on shared values, mutual respect, and national interest will be key to delivering lasting progress. “We pray for the success of the government of President Joseph N. Boakai, and we pledge our fullest support to all lawful efforts aimed at transforming Liberia into a nation of hope, opportunity, and dignity for all,” the statement concluded.
